Wigeon
The wigeon ( Anas penelope ) is a rather common species. It niche in the extreme north of the Europe (in the Taïga), until in Siberia, and migrates to winter in the south of the England, on the French coasts and Spanish, of the Italy, the Balkans, the North Africa.
Very pretty duck, the male with the russet-red head with a yellow band which leaves the base of the nozzle until - above of the head. The wigeon has a rosy drill plate, a white belly, a black and white tail. The nozzle is bluish, with a black point. The plumage of the Cane is brown.
The wigeon is a 45 cm length and of a scale of approximately 80 cm. Very skilful on ground, its name comes from its cry, a mélodieux whistle " wii-wuuuuuu" that one frequently hears the evening. The female emits a " rarr" very serious.
