Dr. Wietse Zweitze Venema (born in 1951) is a Dutch known to have developed the software Postfix, an electronic mail server. He also developed many other tools for the data-processing security management, like SATAN and the Toolkit Coroner, in collaboration with daN Farmer, and the tool TCP Wrapper.

Biography

He studied the Physique with the Université of Groningue. He spent 12 years of his life to the university of Eindhoven as an architect system in the department of Mathématiques and Informatique. He passed a share of his time to write tools for the electronic exchange of data. He emigrated with the the United States in 1996 where he worked for IBM in the state of New York
