Whole Lotta Shakin\' Goin\' One

Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' One is a Chanson written by Dave Curly Williams and Sunny David (pseudonym of Roy Hall) at the beginning of the Années 1950. It was initially recorded by the singer of Rhythm and blues Big Maybelle, and was published by Okeh Records in August 1955. The version of Roy Hall left to Decca Records in September 1955 with All By Myself opposite B.

But the most famous interpretation is that of Jerry Lee Lewis published by Sun Records in 1957. It was its first tube.

The song was then taken again, inter alia, by Rick Nelson, Chubby Checker, Duffy Power, Conway Twitty, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Wanda Jackson, Elvis Presley, Mae West, Mott the Hoople, Big Star, Uriah Heep, The Flying Lizards (1984)…
