White of Navarre (1333 - October 5th 1398). Girl of Philippe III of Navarre and Jeanne de France.

Initially intended for an alliance with the Castille, Blanche married 19 or the January 29th 1349 (according to the sources) with Paris Philippe VI of Valois, recent widower of Jeanne of Burgundy. Destiny originally with his/her son, the future Jean II the Good, the young girl subjugated Philippe VI, forty years its elder. She passed for the most beautiful princess of her time and was called " Beautiful Sagesse". But their union was of short duration since the king died one year after his marriage, of exhaustion in love according to some. Enclosure, Blanche was confined of a girl, Jeanne known as Blanche (May 1351 - September 16th 1371). The queen Douairière withdrew herself with Neaufles-Saint-Martin close to Gisors and refused second weddings with Alphonse XI of Castille, declaring then: " The queens of France do not remarient point." appearing at the court of France only on rare occasions, in particular at the time of the entry of Isabeau of Bavaria to Paris, which it organized, Blanche preserved the regard of Jean II the Good. She played a political role while trying to bring closer her brother, Charles the Bad, of king de France. White in its retirement the October 5th 1398 died out and was buried with the Abbaye of Saint-Denis.
