White companion

Description

The white companion ( Silene latifolia , Poiret, 1789) is a herbaceous Plante of the order of the Caryophyllales and family of the Caryophyllaceae.

It is of intermediate size approximately 20cm with very hairy oval sheets which measure about 20-30 mm, and the fruits resemble toothed small capsules. Its white flowers which can be up to ten per feet, is very odorous the evening.

Habitat

One finds the companion white until 1.400m at the edge of the roads and of the ways at the edge of the hedges, in wet-dry grounds and acid-limestones.
