Origin and geographical distribution

The white grolleau is a very rare Cépage of Vigne in France. The type of vine is a variety of the Grolleau. It was announced in the surface of name of the Slope-of-Tailboard. The variety would have appeared on a stock of gray Grolleau.

  • End of the young white duveteux branch with dyed with carmine edging.
  • Young person aranéeuses, very bronzed sheets
  • adult Sheets, whole or with 3 lobes (seldom with 5 lobes) with a petiolar sine in narrow quadrant (sometimes closed), teeth ogival, average, a slightly pubescent limb.

Farming aptitudes

Maturity is of second time: 20 days after the chasselas.

Technological potential

The bunches are rather large and the bays are of intermediate size. The bunch is truncated, winged. The type of vine is vigorous and it must be cut short. It is sensitive to the Excoriose, the peduncular rot and the Short-tied.
