Which-Gon Jinn
Which-Gon Jinn is a Master Jedi in the universe of Star Wars . He was the Jedi Master of Obi-Wan Kenobi before being made kill by a lord Sith.
A Jedi Master
Which-Gon Jinn was born 60 years before the Bataille from Naboo (in 92 Av. BY), on an unknown planet although certain indices seem to indicate a possible origin of Malastare. Like many powerful individuals in the Force at that time, it was located in the six months after its birth and to age the one year, it was led to the Temple Jedi to receive its formation there. At the ten years age, it was pointed out in the contests of Saber laser for its exceptional talents of epeist; the Master who taught the combat at that time to him had even marked not to have had such a pupil in 400 years of practice.
It is during one of these famous days of exhibition of the talents of the Padawan that Which-Gon required of the young Knight Dooku to become its Master. And that Ci accepted. They formed an explosive and effective duet quickly, cultivating the rare and décriée philosophy of the Alive Force. Which-Gon Jinn reached the row of Knight quickly. It succeeds in bringing a first apprentice in the long term, and had much less success with the second, a boy of the planet Telos of the name of Xanatos. This one fell into the Darkness and did not reappear any more during one moment. In the phantom Threat , Which-Gon Jinn and its Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi is sent by the Conseil Jedi to regulate a litigation between the Fédération of the trade directed by the viceroy Nute Gunray who imposed a blockade on the planet Naboo, directed by the young queen Padmé Amidala. However, the federation tries to get rid of the two ambassadors who are obliged to flee.
The litigation is in fact only one pretext with a vast conspiracy fomented by the Master Sith Dark Sidious (Darth Sidious in VO) with Nute Gunray.
Whereas the droïdes of the federation invade Naboo, Which-Gon manages to find the Amidala queen and they decide to leave to the galactic Sénat on Coruscant in order to put a term at the invasion. During their escape, their vessel is damaged and they are constrained to make a halt on Tatooine. Whereas he seeks spare parts, Which-Gon becomes acquainted with Anakin Skywalker, a young slave of ten years living only with his/her mother. Feeling that the force is very powerful in him, Which-Gon thinks that the young boy would be the elected official of a prophecy calling it with a great destiny, and decides to release it and take it along with him on Coruscant so that he becomes a Jedi knight.
Arrived on Coruscant, capital of the galactic republic, the Jedi council refuses that the Anakin young person is initiated because he is considered to be too old and its future seems dubious. However, Which-Gon having a character rebels towards the Jedi council, it informs its padawan of its intention nevertheless to form Anakin.
Of return on Naboo with the queen to carry out the fight against the droïdes of the federation, it is found with Obi-Wan vis-a-vis Sith, Dark Maul (Darth Maul in VO), the apprentice of Dark Sidious. After a long duel with the laser saber, Which-Gon Jinn will be mortally wounded by Dark Maul. Right before dying in the arms of sound padawan, it will make him promise to take the young person Anakin Skywalker like apprentice.
Which-Gon was a Master of the style “Ataru” (the shape IV of combat to the laser saber), a way of fighting very lifting and testing physically and mentally. But this technique also makes it possible to exceed the disadvantages of the age. For example, Yoda is also a Master of Ataru. But it did not succeed in saving Which-Gon powerful Dark Maul.
In episode II, when Obi-Wan Kenobi is captured by the count Dooku, this one reveals to him that he was his Jedi Master.
It is also one of rare to have reached the way of immortality, like says it Yoda at the end of episode III: “Which-gon returned from the depths of the Force”, it will be able (like Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin later) to thus return in the form of spirit and during the 10 years following the advent of the empire it transmitted its knowledge concerning the force to Obi-wan and Yoda.
