Mouila is the provincial Capitale of the Ngounié, 4th area of the Gabon. The city is located on the river Ngounié and the Trunk road N1. Its population rises with approximately 20.000 inhabitants; it is also about the one of the poorest areas of the country (it is an aberration because Mouila is the capital of the one of the provinces the rich person of Gabon; however, diamond, wood various… are there).

Wet is very wide and has many markets and shopping malls. It is a major footbridge concerning the voyage and the trade; in particular thanks to its network of Taxi S coloured of green and white.

Wet has secondary schools of reputation like St.Gabriel and the Valley-Marie both created in the years 1960. Several generations of personalities which occupy of the positions of responsibility in the various structures of the country passed in these establishments. These two establishments of catholic private education are directed today by the Gabonese one after having been under the cane of the expatriates who left an good image there.

Saint Gabriel is at the center of the city while the Valley-Marie is to 7 km of Wet.

In addition, on the strictly tourist level, one can visit " the Lake Bleu" who owes his name with the coloring of his water. This lake is to 1 km of the Valley-Marie.
