Western Clippings

The Western clippings ( frysk ) is a speech of the group of Western Germanic languages . He is spoken by approximately 400.000 people, mainly in the province Dutchwoman of Frise, where he enjoys beside the Dutch the statute official language. Some regard it as a Langue with whole share, others like the dominant alternative of the clippings.
In Western clippings, it is known simply under the name of clippings ( frysk ). In the Netherlands, the name Western clippings (Dutch West-Fries) is reserved for a dialect of Dutch spoken in the area about Western Plank which, it, depends on the Holland-Septentrional province of .
The other varieties of the clippings are the Eastern clippings (2 000 speakers) and the septentrional clippings (10 000 speakers), both spoken in Germany. It also resembles the English and Dutch.
The majority of the population of the province of Plank includes/understands the Western clippings, but due in particular to Dutch schooling, the level of elimination of illiteracy in Western clippings is relatively low.
