The West Adelaide Bearcats is an Australian club of Basket-ball based in the town of Adélaïde. The club evolves/moves in Australian Basketball Association, that is to say the minor league of better level in Australia. It evolved/moved in National Basketball League (the major league) between 1979 and 1984, before being absorbed by the Adelaide 36ers.

The female section was part, it, of the original teams D ela Women' S National Basketball League.

History

August 1st The club is founded in 1950. At the conclusion of the season 1984, it amalgamates partly with the Adelaide 36ers. It will join then the semi-professional league called ABA.
