Ernst Werner von Siemens (December 13rd 1816 with Lenthe, close to Hanover - December 6th 1892 with Berlin) is a inventor and German Industriel .

In 1847, with Johann Georg Halske, it founds the company Telegraphen-Beam-Anstalt of Siemens & Halske , become in 2007 the company Siemens.

In 1866, it establishes the principle of the dynamoelectric and in 1877, it obtains the patent of the electronic Haut-parleur.

In 1888, it is anobli by the Empereur Frederic III.

The name “mho” was adopted like unit of the international system for the electric Conductance.
