Weppes

Geography

The country of Weppes is a light relief of lengthening south-north developed in the sandy substrate (landénien) and argillaceous (yprésien). It presents a slope rectilinear and marked (although of weak uneven) towards the west and the Plaine of the Lily, while its slope exposed towards the east and the valley of the Deûle is very soft with a strong covering ic Loess.
