Wendel Investment
Resulting from the merger by amalgamation of CGIP by Navy Wendel in June 2002, Wendel Investissement is a group of investment French which is currently chaired by Ernest-Antoine Seilliere of Laborde.
Its principal shareholders are:
- Wendel Participations: 35.00% (family Wendel, Seillère de Laborde, Missoffe, of Panafieu, Mitry, Rohan…)
- Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder Advisers: 10.12%
- Self-checking: 8.78 %
- UBS London Branch : 4.57%
In 2005, Wendel Investissement is shareholder of the following companies:

September 30th, 2004, Editis, resulting from the group Havas then Lagardere, becomes a subsidiary company with 100% of Wendel Investissement.
It should be noted that the action Navy-Wendel was with dimensions 44 francs with the Paris Bourse on September 1st, 1980 (either exactly 10 francs or 1,52 euro in progress adjusted, owing to the fact that 10 actions Navy-Wendel of this time became 44 actions Wendel Investissement of today) and that the action Wendel Investissement dimensioned 127 euros on April 25th, 2007.
Wendel also became with the autumn the 2007 1st shareholder of Saint-Gobain, a leader of construction materials, passing the 15%
