Weinan

Weinan (渭南; Pinyin: Wèinán) is a city of the province Shaanxi in China. Its population was of: 226600 inhabitants in 2001.

Economy

Regional agriculture is mainly turned towards the production of egg S, grain and Coton.

In 2004, total GDP was of 24,8 billion Yuan S.

The city-prefecture of Weinan exerts its jurisdiction on eleven subdivisions - a district, two city-counties and eight counties  :

  • the town of Hancheng - 韩城市 Hánchéng Shì   ;
  • the county of Hooted - 华县 Huà Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Tongguan - 潼关县 Tóngguān Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Dali - 大荔县 Dàlì Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Pucheng - 蒲城县 Púchéng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Chengcheng - 澄城县 Chéngchéng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Baishui - 白水县 Báishuǐ Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Heyang - 合阳县 Héyáng Xiàn   ;
  • the county of Fuping - 富平县 Fùpíng Xiàn .
