Synopsis
The film tells the battle of Drang, the valley of the death, which was the first significant battle of the war of Vietnam between the American forces and North-Vietnamese, and is located between November 14th and 18th 1965. The American army implements a tactic of rotation of helicopters to gradually deposit approximately 400 men in a clearing encircled by more than 2000 Vietnamese soldiers. 1800 Vietnamese soldiers will die.
