Wazon (980? - 1048) was prince-bishop of Liege of 1042 at July 8th 1048. It undoubtedly devoted in the presence of Henri III of the Holy roman Empire in 1046 the Holy-Gertrude Collégiale of Bubbles one of the largest Romance churches in the spiritual field of the Ancien diocese of Liege (and currently jewel of the major Patrimoine of Wallonia It is buried in the Cathédrale Our-Lady-and-Saint-Lambert of Liege.
