Wax Tailor

Jean-Christophe Saout is an author, type-setter, producer, and manager in the field of the music known under the name of Wax Tailor . It Off leaves its first album Tales The Forgotten Melodies in March 2005 after 2 EP whose kind mixes the Trip hop, the Hip hop or even the Down tempo, its principal musical influences. In 2007 it leaves a second album Hope & sorrow .

Course

Member of the group the Formula in the years 1990, stimulating of the Mantes-the-Pretty radio Established among with , Saout launches his label Lab' Oratoire in 1998 and produced the Formula as well as projects Breakbeats Breaking the wave .

In same time, it launches out in its first project Breathing under toilets in collaboration with, inter alia, Looptroop, Swedish group of which it was responsible for the French round in 2001. It is the period when it seems to be detached from the world hip French hop and to devote itself to its “militant” project Breathing under toilets .

The project Wax Tailor begun in 2002, produced in 2004 two EP in collaboration with Charlotte Savary (song) and Marina Quaisse (violoncello), combining amongst other things orchestral Hip hop, down tempo and trip hop.

In addition to the music, it was invested in the associative field, with the House Of the High-school pupils (MDL) of the college Georges Dumézil of Vernon (Upper Normandy), and it lasting of many years.
