Waville is a common French, located in the department of the Meurthe-et-Moselle and the area Lorraine.

The Church Saint-Hubert de Waville whose foundation dates from XIIIe century is one of oldest “the church-market” of Lorraine. The church was arranged in “church-market” in XIIIe century but the parish of Waville as for it was created in the neighborhoods of the year mil.
Its name of Saint-Hubert Church comes from bonds linking the Saint-Gorgon abbey of Gorze, whose parish of Waville was under the dependence, to the Saint-Hubert monastery in Ardennes.
The tympanum of the principal door dating from XVIe century represents Saint Hubert. The current bell-tower dates from the XVIIIe century.

The Church is currently in work in order to restore the roof and the frescos present inside.
