Waves (North Carolina)
Waves is a Unincorporated community located in the Comté of Dare, on the Hatteras Island, the part of the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Waves formed originally part (as well as Rodanthe and of Salvo) of Chicamacomico. Waves was known under the name of Rodanthe of the South (South Rodanthe) until 1939.
