Wave of gravity

In Mechanical of the fluids, one indicates by gravitational wave or wave of gravity a wave moving on the free face of a fluid subjected to gravity. The Vague S in open medium or the Ballottement in closed circle constitute examples of waves gravitationnelles.
In Meteorology, one indicates by wave of gravity the variations of atmospheric pressure concentric created by the fall of a mass of air (for example because of the relief of the ground). These waves are the equivalent of the Vague S in a medium in three dimensions. They can lead to the creation of cloudy bands parallel, corresponding to the minima and maximum of pressure (" crêtes" wave), for example of the Cirrus vertebratus.
One should not confuse Onde of gravity and gravitational Onde, which it refers to relativistic mechanics.
