Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen is a village located in the county of Schuyler, state of New York. Its population was of 2,149 inhabitants according to the census of 2000. It is the Siège of the county of Schuyler.

It is more famous apart from the the United States for the road racing set which is there, the Watkins Glen International. It was there that the Grands Prix car of the United States (1961-1975) and the Grands Prix car of the United States East (1976-1980) of Formule 1 were held. It is also used for the races of NASCAR, of Champ Because, Indy Racing League, and for other series.
