Watertown is a city located in the Comté of Litchfield, in the State of the Connecticut (the United States). According to the census of 2000, Watertown had a total population of 21.661 inhabitants.

According to the Office of the census of the United States, surface of the east city of 76,6 km ², including 75,5 km ² of grounds and 1,1 km ² of water levels (either 1,45%).

Demography

According to the Census of 2000, there were 21.661 inhabitants, 8.046 households, and 5.994 families in the city. The Population density was of 286,9 hab/km ². There were 8.298 houses with a density of 109,9 maisons/km ². The ethnic decomposition of the population was: 96,46% white; 0,75% black; 0,12% Amerindian; 1,27% Asian S; 0,05% natives of the islands of the Peaceful ; 0,48% of the other races; 0,87% of two or more races. 1,87% of the population were Hispanique or Latino of any race.
