Water drops on extreme stones

Gouttes of water on extreme stones is a French film of François Ozon, carried out in 1999 and left in France in 2000. Being held only in Door-close, the film counts four actors, Bernard Giraudeau, Malik Zidi, Ludivine Sagnier, and Anna Thomson.

The film is adapted of a part Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Tropfen auf heisse Steine , written at the nineteen years age, that the author put forever in scene, neither with the theater nor with the cinema.

Argument

In Germany, in the Years 1970, businessman a 50 year old installs at his place his/her 19 year old lover. Then begin for the young lover a cloistered life with the hearth from where his/her companion for his work goes away regularly. All occurs well until the day…
