Wasim Akram (born the June 3rd 1966 with Lahore, Pakistan) is a former Pakistani player of Cricket. He is often regarded as one of the best launchers of the history of the cricket because of his performances and statistics as a fast bowler Gaucher.

• One of the three only players to have made a success of two hat-tricks in ODI (against the the Western Indies in 1989 and the Australia in 1990).
• One of the two only players to have made a success of one or more hat-tricks at the same time in test and ODI.
• One of the three only players to have eliminated four players in five balls in test (against the the Western Indies in 1990 - 91).
• greater number of runs marked by a player in eighth position in test (257 not out against the Zimbabwe).
