Warzone is a strategy game with figurines located in the universe of Mutant Chronicles.

The last company which published it filed for bankruptcy at the beginning of 2006, and destroyed the entirety of the moulds of the figurines: the Warzone range thus today is not followed more.

Editions

Between 1995 and 2004, three versions of the book of rules of Warzone were published.

Warzone

Target Games publishes the first edition of Warzone in 1995. It will receive four supplements: ; the Paddle of the War (1996) ; Animals of War (1996) ; Casualties off War (1997) ; Dark Eden (1997) The fifth supplement Come: World At Wars will be cancelled in 1997 with the profit of the second edition of Warzone.

Warzone 2nd Edition

The 2nd edition leaves in 1998. It will receive two supplements, of which none was translated into French: ; Come Forces off War (1999) ; Forces off War Mars (1999) The development of Forces off War Mercury will brutally be stopped by the voluntary liquidation of Target Games.

Ultimate Warzone: Universe under Seat

Excelsior Entertainment begins again in 2001 the Warzone license, and publishes in 2004 the third edition of the play.

Three supplements are announced before even as the book of rules of the third edition is not published, Mars: World At War - McCraig Line , Mercury: World At War - The Iron Fist off the Ebon De luxe hotel and Dark Eden: World At War - Sins off the Father , but the voluntary liquidation of Excelsior signs their death warrant.

Armies

Warzone proposes to the players to take the head of several armies of the world of Chronicles Mutant. According to the editions, the structure of the armies and their subdivision changes.

Bauhaus

Capitol

The characteristic of the diagram of army of Capitol is to have to choose its regular units and its units of support in a joint base, the Armed forces of Capitol, then to have to make the choice of its units of elite in the Naval forces of Capitol or the Terrestrial Forces of Capitol, without being able to combine both.

The Trust

The Trust as an army with whole share was introduced into the third edition. Its diagram of army is based on a reduced choice of troops, and on choices of support which are the commandos of death come from all the mégacorporations. These commandos of death function in binomial, generally a specialist in the remote shooting and a specialist in the body with body.

The Brotherhood

The Brotherhood is a general-purpose army, which is based heavily on the Mysteries (special capacities) to take the top at the time of the engagements. The majority of its independent can indeed be equipped about it.

In the third edition, if the choice of regular troops of the Brotherhood is done in a joint list, it is then necessary to select its sections of elite among the list of the Mystics or in that of the Enquiry, but it is not possible to mix both.

Cybertronic

Among the mégacorporations, Cybertronic has the simplest diagram of the army: no the subdivision in several under-armies, since, faithful to the screen of the universe, there is no place for power struggles or currents opposed in the fifth megacorporation.

Imperial

Obscure Legions

The Obscure Legions, as a principal enemy in the universe of Chronicles Mutant, have among the various armies the more great choice of troop. The diagram of army is relatively complex, since it functions according to two dimensions: that of the Worship and the Horde on an axis, and that of the various apostles in the other.

Mishima

The army of the megacorporation Mishima is divided between the forces of the three Crown princes. Thus, in addition to a common choice of basic troops, of elite, support and characters independent, each Crown prince lays out characters, troops and of support which are clean for him. It is not possible to combine troops of the one of the Crown princes with those to another.

Tribes of the Earth

The Tribes of the Earth are introduced by the supplement Dark Eden of the first edition, and represent the four main organizations gathering the human abandoned ones during the Exodus.
