Warracknabeal
Warracknabeal is an Australian city of 3100 inhabitants, located in the middle of the cereal belt of the State of Victoria, with 330 kilometers in the North-West of Melbourne.
It is thought that its name comes from an expression indigenous meaning “the place where the large eucalypti make shade in the water level”.
The area of Warracknabeal was, at the origin, populated by the aboriginals Wotjobaluk.
Warracknabeal is the birthplace of the musician Nick Cave.
