History
Warlaing, one of the cities of the Heart of Ostrevent , had during its history a seigneuriale family resulting directly from the Counts d' Ostrevent of X-XIIè century .
One finds indeed:
Antoine , oldest son of Colard de Haynin (sometimes also written of Hennin) and of his second wife Cornélie d' Avesnes, carried gold to the engrêlée cross of mouths and broke its weapons of a boar's head of sand to the 1st canton, defended and lit money . He married the 10/29/1506 Antoinette de Curlu, girl of Jacques and Jeanne de Saint Hilaire. Antoine, sgr of Warlaing, which was also lord and marquis de Quérénaing, died in Cambrai on July 14th, 1551 and was buried in Saint Géry (where it had epitaph and armorial bearings).
Henri , wire and successor of the precedent to the ground of Warlaing, married in 1557, Marie de Landas.
Jean I , their son, married in Ath the 5/3/1573 Helene Benoît was always sgr of Warlaing. But their son, also Jean II, will préferra to him the sgrie of Calbreucq with Chièvres which it held of his wife, Madeleine Wallet.
Their descent is thus continued until our days via of Haynin, sgrs of Calbreucq with Ath (B) in Haynin, sgrs of Surface with Baisieux (F).
