Wario

Wario ( ワリオ in Japanese) is a Personnage of video game created by Nintendo. It was conceived like the opposite of Mario. It appeared for the first time in 1992, in the play Super Mario Land 2:6 Golden Corners . It well-known for its cupidity, is indicated by its adventures against Sugar Pirates and Capitaine Syrup.

Its name comes from the inversion of the M, initial of Mario. It is also a pun in Japanese, “ warui ” meaning “ malicious, bad ”. One finds this negative English connotation, resonance of “ war ”.

First of all the malicious one of the play, Wario became a character with whole share soon, with Wario Land on Game Boy. Returned attaching more, thanks to his ridiculous malicious side “which one takes pity”, one regularly finds it as a supporting character ( Mario Kart: Double Dash!! or Mario Party on GameCube) one also finds it in the plays of the range Mario Sport or in other plays which are entirely dedicated to him, in particular the series of the Wario Ware . The latter are compilations of mini-plays completions mild nutters, and even at the top of debility. But it is what makes all the salt of this series.

One could not say the family ties which exist between Mario and Wario. If the assumption of a cousin distant - even from a hidden brother, in the line of the " twin malfaisant" - remains present, others were proposed with the wire time, like that which makes of Wario a forsaken fan of Mario trying to exceed her idol. A major competition opposes it to the red plumber, and it is often placed against its course in the hope to outclass it, that it is while stealing its castle (Super Mario Land 2:6 Golden Corners), while launching out in a search aiming at finding before him the large gold statue of Peach stolen by Captain Syrup (Wario Land) or in many mini-plays. The principal character trait of the character, who is also his principal defect is his cupidity which pushes it with going in front of many dangers to fill the pockets. Generally, the plays where one incarnates have as an original intention collect the maximum of gold coins in order to obtain the most possible score.

Contrary to Mario, Wario often invincible with the attacks is related to him, but it is not invulnerable for as much: indeed, its body will undergo modifications according to the attacks, which will enable him to gain inaccessible places differently, or to overcome an enemy more easily. One could thus see it being flattened like a crèpe, becoming obese, ignited, changed into snowball, spring, zombie or into bat. Its food fetish is the garlic, which multiplies by ten its forces and allows him to change into " Super Wario" , a superman with the capacities prone to discussion.

Recently, he saw himself affublé of a brother/friendly, Waluigi, rival of Luigi… one yet precisely does not know the bonds which link them, but one often sees them making team for a common cause.
