Wapédia is a project of Florian Amrhein of provision of Wikipédia on the personal assistants and the mobile telephony.

Characteristics:

• the long pages are segmented in smaller parts in order to support posting on the screens of cellphones.
• the images are decreased until the resolution of the mobile device.
• Wapédia has its own search engine fast and independent of the waiters of Wikipédia.
• Support of WML and formats " XTML Mobile" modern with an car-identification of the format more adapted for each apparatus.
