Born in China on October 1st 1950, with Jingxian, province of the Hebei, Wang MeiFang is an artist Chinese, heir to the academic teaching of the painting of imperial court: it paints according to the guns of this secular tradition.

From 1968 to 1976 he studies, then he is graduate by the Institute of the Art schools of Tianjin where he will teach then during two years and half.

After four years of studies, it is named Master in Chinese traditional painting.

Its first Master, Zhao Guojing, will teach the art and the technique of traditional painting to him on Soie. Little by little our artist will acquire his own style, painting female characters with very complex backgrounds, while succeeding in animating the faces and the hands to include all the desired feelings there, while dissociating himself in that of the Chinese pictorial tradition by the particular life which he can give to his characters. He has like subjects of predilections the historical characters and the famous topics of his country. This stressing of the feelings expressed by the painting of the face and the hands, is a characteristic and a constant research in the history of universal painting.
