Wang Chao (王朝) is a Chinese realizer born the January 21st 1964 with Nankin (China).
Biography
Wang Chao is born in Nankin on January 21st, 1964. It is resulting from a family of workmen. Graduate of the University, it works during 5 years in a large iron and steel plant. In parallel, it is impassioned for the cinema, the literature and writing of the poems.Laid off of its company, it integrates in 1991 the Academy of Film of Beijing where it follows studies of film studies. It leaves graduate in 1994 and becomes critic from there film. Following its criticism on the yellow film Ground of Chen Kaige, he becomes his assistant realizer of 1995 to 1998 on Adieu my concubine and the Emperor and the assassin .
Then he writes news of which he draws from the film scenarios. Its first film, the Orphan of Anyang (turned without authorization), was worth to him a selection with the Cannes festival in 2001 in About fifteen the realizers.
With Luxury car it finishes its trilogy on China whose the Orphan of Anyang and Jour and night are them the first two parts.
