Walter Schellenberg (1910, the Saar, Germany - 1952, Lake of Like, Italy) was responsible for the section against-espionage of SD of the Nazi Germany during the Second world war. Recognized for its sharp-edged intelligence and its ambition, its actions largely benefitted carried out the Nazis.
Biography
Born in the Saar in 1910, it is youngest of a family of 7 children, whose father manufactures pianos. In 1929, it enters to the Université of Bonn and studies the Médecine there during 2 years before forking towards the Droit. In January 1946, at the time of the Lawsuit of Nuremberg, he testifies against thelarge ones to the Nazi Germany. Ernst Kaltenbrunner, inter alia, will be condemned thanks to its testimony. For its part he is condemned to four years of detention only, at the time of the Procès of the ministries in 1949. After two years, it is released, suffering of gallstones.
He dies in 1952 in a villa close to lake of As in Italy.
