Walter Schachner , born the 1957 with Leoben, is old a Austrian Footballeur of the Seventies and Eighties.

Attacker fast and powerful, Schachner marked 23 goals in 64 matches under the shirt of the Austrian selection. At the time of the world cups 1978 and 1982, it formed a duet of frightening attacker with Hans Krankl.
