Walter Berry was a Baritone-low Austrian (born the April 8th 1929 with Vienna - died the October 27th 2000 in the same city), singer of opera S and Oratorio S.

There made its studies in its birthplace and remained faithful to its Opéra of State, of which he was an universally recognized institution.
A time - of 1957 with 1970 - the husband of Christa Ludwig, with which it often occurred on scene and with the disc, Walter Berry did not have anything to envy to him from the point of view of the stylistic versatility and the technical control.
