Walt Disney Treasures

Walt Disney Treasures or Trésors Disney (for the French editions) is a collection inaugurated in 2001 by the exit of DVD gathering the entirety of the traditional short films of Disney, certain emissions or films not republished from their exits. It includes since 2006, some books based on the same topic, also entitled Walt Disney Treasures and published by Gemstone Publishing.

A series of work written by Robert Tieman for the Éditions Disney can also be associated with the series with DVD because of its character of files.

Each volume is decorated comments of the cinematograohic critic Leonard Maltin, is specialized in animation and in particular Disney. The DVD are gathered by batches called vaguenesses and published annually about December (in the United States). This collection currently counts six waves in English but only two in French. Each box contains two DVDs, the english language version is under numbered metal box or plastic case for the republications while the French version is under digipack plastic with the metallized aspect.
