Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group

The Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group (ex- Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group ) is a whole of movie studios, subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company. It was created in 1994 then absorbed in 2005 by Buena Vista which was famous in 2007 Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, because of the lack of legibility of the mark Buena Vista, existing however since 1953.

History

The name Buena Vista comes from the company Buena Vista Distribution, founded in 1955 by Walt Disney in order to distribute its films. The name was selected because it was that of the street with Burbank where the complex of the Walt Disney Studios complex was and which always exists.

The company Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group was created in 1994 with at its head Joe Roth to gather the various studios of Disney
