Walt Disney Computer Software
Walt Disney Computer Software is an old company of the Walt Disney Company created in 1988 and specialized in the production of video games and educational plays. It was reorganized and re-elected Disney Interactive in 1996 but while remaining an entity of Disney Consumer Products.
The company was formed around “specialists” under development in software extracted the company Walt Disney Educational Productions. Shelley Miles was named director of this subsidiary company before becoming that of the Walt Disney Music Company. The company was the first entity of Disney to develop or publish in-house video games for a marketing.
The company produced several video games during a few years before being integrated in 1996 into a new subsidiary company of Disney: Disney Interactive.
