Wally is a opera in four acts of Alfredo Catalani, on a booklet of Luigi Illica, created with Milan the January 20th 1892.
At the origin a novel and a Play of Wilhelmine von Hillern, Die Geyer-Wally (literally: “Wally with the vultures”), the action occurs in a village Tyrolean, the father of heroin having chosen a party to him of which she does not want.
