The Wallonia malmédienne or Prussian Wallonia is the part of the Wallonia transferred to the Prussia in 1815 by the Traité from Vienna, and joined together with the Belgium in 1919 following the Traité of Versailles. It covers the communes of Waimes and Malmedy, the only communes of the Cantons of the East where one traditionally speaks French and the Wallon, which makes these communes of common answering the definition even of almost 100% of the communes of the Wallonia, the excluded German-speaking communes.
