Waldemar Kita (1953) is a Business man free Polish.

Optician of formation, Waldemar Kita made fortune by creating, in 1986, the Cornéal company become 20 years later the n° 1 French and the fourth European group for the design and the manufacture of lenses intraoculaires intended for the Chirurgie of the cataract.

In addition to the Ophthalmology, Cornéal (56 million euros of turnover in 2005) also was essential in the esthetic Médecine thanks to the production of Hyaluronic acid (Juvederm®, Surgiderm®) intended to attenuate the wrinkle S of the face.

Waldemar Kita sold Cornéal in December 2006 at the american company Allergan for 180 million euros.

Football

Former player of Football, Waldemar Kita was owner of the club Suisse FC Lausanne-Sport of 1998 to 2001. This adventure in Lausanne will have led the club to the bankruptcy two years after its departure. It had tried to repurchase the FC Nantes in 1998 but the board of directors of the time had preferred the Socpresse to him. He becomes finally President of the in August 2007 by repurchasing it with the group Dassault for 10 million euros.
