Wake (physical phenomenon)
The wake is the trace marking the passage of a Bateau in a Liquide or of a Avion in the Air.
One says of a vehicle that it is in the wake when it is not very far behind another vehicle in its axis of motion.
Particular case of the Helicopter: The blades of the principal Rotor of a helicopter must move in the same plan ( disc rotor ). One regulates their displacement thus by laterally observing their wake using optical devices placed in end of Pale and more or less inflecting the angle of the tabs fixed on the trailing edge.
