Wakadoshiyori
The Wakadoshiyori (), was a high government of the 17th century in the Japan of the clan Tokugawa. This " council of Anciens" Young people; era Edo included/understood six members, recruited among the Fudai-daimyô (), of which each one directed the businesses for one month. They are hierarchically lower than the Rôjû ().
Wakadoshiyori was charged to supervise the hatamotos (bodyguards of the shogun), the craftsmen, the doctors, and the taxes paid by the vassal ones of the shogun. They supervised also the activities in the big cities of the country like Kyōto and Ōsaka.
