Waisale Tikoisolomoni Serevi , born the May 20th 1968, is a player of Rugby to XV and seven Fiji in. He played in team of Fiji and evolves/moves at the stations of half of opening, winger, back or half of fray.

He has especially enormous capacities for the Rugby to seven.

He had been engaged by the Leicester Tigers by the trainer Bob Dwyer, at the beginning as to play back but the South-African Michael Horak began at this station. Its station of predilection, half of opening, was occupied by the South-African hero of the world cup Joel Stransky. Tested like winger, it proved to be a magician, but its very low defensive capacities made him concede as many tests as it concluded some or caused. It was inverted with the player English half of fray Austin Healey, this one occupying the station of winger. Its stay with Leicester was unfruitful and it then left to the Mons Stade in France.

Probably one of the best players of Rugby to seven of all times, it has an incomparable assessment with this play: two Melrose Cup S, five HongKong Sevens, three titles of better player as HongKong Sevens, for which it is necessary to add two money medals to the Jeux of the Commonwealth and a gold medal to the worldwide games of 2001.

With seven Rugby, it belonged to the best team of all times, unconquered with HongKong of 1990 with 1992, and it played a big role during the memorable test marked in HongKong Sevens of 1990. Whereas its team lost 10-0 against the New Zealand at the beginning of second half of the finale, the balloon was launched with a hand with Serevi which on the basis of its line of the 10 m, and under pressure by Zinzan Brooke, volleya the ball with the top of its head towards a fellow-member who launched it between his legs, in a gesture towards bearded the Tomasi Cama. Leaving to 15 m its line, Cama exceeded of speed defense of New Zealand, circumvented John Galagher by taking a step of goose and marked the test under the posts, thus beginning a return to the mark, this test by calling others. The Fiji did not finish carrying it 21-10 and remained unconquered until a final lost in 1993 against Manu Samoa.

It also represented the Fiji at the time of three world cups of Rugby to XV. Serevi left international Rugby after the world cup of 2003, but was persuaded to return for the world cup of Rugby to seven in 2005. It finished in beauty by leading the Fiji towards a new title, Fiji being the first nation which gained two world cups of Rugby at Sept. After this victory, it was named player-trainer of the national team of Rugby at Sept.
