Wahgunyah
Wahgunyah (500 inhabitants) is a small town of the North-East of the state of Victoria in Australia on southern bank of the river Murray opposite the town of Corowa in News-Wales-of-South.
The area was occupied by the Whroo aboriginals.
Gold was found in 1859 in the south of the city in a zone to 9 km in the south which was going to become the village of Rutherglen.
The city is located at roughly at 60 km at the west of Albury and Wodonga. The economic main activity apart from agriculture is a factory of products sweetened for the breakfast.
