Wackies is an American independent label specialized in the Reggae.

Founded by Lord Barnes under the name of Wackie' S House Off Music and based on White Road Lime pits with New York, one finds under the name of Wackies a store of discs as well as a studio of recording. He is regarded by certain as the first studio reggae of size in the United States.

The label thus produced artists like Horace Andy, Wayne Jarrett, Love Joys, The Meditations, and Sugar Minott, as well as purely instrumental productions of dub played by groups of the studio.

Majority, if not all the original productions of wackies are exhausted and required by the collectors of reggae. Two German, Moritz Von Oswald and Mark Ernestus, impassioned sound of the label, initiated an important republication campaign still in progress, produced by BASIC Chanel Record, under the name, justified, of Wackies.
