Wacław Berent (September 28th 1873 - 19 or November 22nd 1940) was a writer, novelist and translator Polish, born and died in Warsaw.

Wacław Berent was severe critical slogans positivists, modernistic Polish philosophy and European “bohemianism”, which postulated the constraint vis-a-vis Article In its novel Ozimina ( Maïs of winter ) it has depicts the awakening of the consciences for the independence of the Poland. It was a solved adversary of the Romantisme. Its principal work was Żywe kamienie ( alive Pierres ), novel in which it has depicts the risks which threaten the values morals in our time of industrial progress.

In 1933, Wacław Berent became member of the Polish Académie of literature (in Polish: Polska Akademia Literatury ).

Wacław Berent is deceased with Warsaw, at the 67 years age, the 19 or November 22nd 1940.
