Vulgrin II of Angouleme, Taillefer or Vulgrin Rudel (born in? - died the September 16th 1140) was a lord of the Moyen-âge, which was count d' Angoulême of 1120 with 1140.

Biography

Vulgrin II of Angouleme was the son of Guillaume V Taillefer. He married Ponce of Montgomery.

He took again Blaye with the count de Poitiers in 1127, and undertook the rebuilding of the castle in 1140, little time before dying.

The Troubadour Jaufré Rudel is perhaps his/her brother.
