Vuk Branković into Serb Cyrillic ВукБранковић , was a Serb lord. Wire of Branko Mladenović, which was the governor of Ohrid and one of the advisers of Stefan Uroš V " known as the weak one. It appears in the history about 1370, as a lord of the Kosovo of Priština, Vučitrna and Zvečana. Skopje is under its authority as from 1378. Vuk was the son-in-law of Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović, he had married in 1371 his Mara girl. It was also its to combine.

It took part in the Bataille of Kosovo Polje in 1389 at the side of Lazar, the legends and popular songs immortalisé it while being a traitor who fled the battle field. That proven forever historically. The historians estimate that " this rumor is due to its refusal of the sacrifice, seeing the lost battle, it is the only Serb lord not to be itself to sacrifice to the sides of its Prince. At the time, that was already regarded as an act of treachery.
