Vouzela
Vouzela is a municipality (in Portuguese: concelho or município ) of the Portugal, located in the District of Viseu and the area Centers.
Geography
Vouzela is bordering:- in north, of São Pedro C Sul,
- in the east, of Viseu,
- in the south, of Tondela and the “secondary” portion of Oliveira de Frades,
- in south-west, of Águeda,
- in the North-West, of the “principal” portion of Oliveira de Frades.
History
The municipality was created in 1836, by division of the ex-municipality of Lafões into two new conselhos : São Pedro C Sul and Vouzela.
