Voshon Lenard

Voshon Kelan Lenard (born the May 14th 1973 with Strait, Michigan) is a professional American player of Basket-ball. It is currently free agent, in the search of a club.

University career

Lenard played in NCAA with the Université of Minnesota, where he was a star. After its season junior, it was presented to the draft NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks selected Lenard with the second tower of the draft 1994. Lenard then decided to go back to Minnesota to carry out its season senior. It finished its career with the " Minnesota Gophers" Golden delicious; with the second rank of the markers of the history with 2103 points.

Professional path

After its university career, Lenard integrated the minor league of Continental Basketball Association (CBA). It carried out averages of 30,1 points per match in 18 meetings for the Oklahoma City Cavalry at the time of the season 1995-96. It left the team at semi-season when it signed with the Miami Heat in NBA. He played for Heat for five seasons.

He, since, played with the Denver Nuggets, the Toronto Raptors and more recently the Portland Trail Blazers. Its average in NBA is of 11,9 points per match.

He is a former winner of the Three-point Shootout.
